Reduce costs
Energy generated on site or supplied from our plants, below grid prices and with no upfront investment.
The Prosolia–Stellantis model, 24/7 CFE across +220 MW behind the meter in six countries.
Facing volatile power prices and round-the-clock decarbonisation targets? Stellantis found the answer with Prosolia Energy. Starting in Zaragoza, where on-site wind, solar and BESS supply the plant through a long-term PPA, the model is now replicated in a +220 MW portfolio at Stellantis plants across Europe and Morocco.
Cut energy costs and price risk while decarbonising round the clock, on the way to Stellantis' carbon net zero target in 2038.
Prosolia acts as independent power producer and energy supplier: it finances, builds and operates the assets and sells Stellantis the energy under long-term agreements, at a predictable price and with no upfront investment.
Over 23,800 tonnes of CO₂ avoided every year at Zaragoza and Vigo alone, with twelve more sites in France, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Morocco adding to the total.
Built in phases since 2020: three solar phases totalling 30.8 MWp and two wind phases with four 7 MW turbines.
Stellantis asked for clean power it could use day and night. Prosolia answered with Spain's first hybrid wind–solar self-consumption project in the automotive sector. Prosolia owns and operates the assets and supplies the electricity; Stellantis simply buys the energy it consumes at a stable, contracted price. At Vigo, Hordain and Mulhouse, 12.5 MW batteries complete the model.
Each site is designed around its own consumption profile: rooftops, carports, ground-mounted PV, wind and storage, all under long-term energy agreements.
14 MW of solar PV at Zaragoza.
Zaragoza becomes a 58.8 MW solar and wind plant.
Eight new sites in France and Germany, 119.6 MW.
Carports with BESS across five plants.
37.5 MW of BESS at Vigo, Hordain and Mulhouse, plus Italy and Morocco.
Prosolia Energy is one of Europe's few independent power producers and renewable energy suppliers operating in both distributed generation and utility-scale markets. We help industrial and commercial energy buyers reduce costs, manage risk and decarbonise, both on site and off site, through integrated solutions.
