OBJECTIVE
Driving the energy transition through a 360º solution: generating clean energy for the factory while promoting electric mobility through EV charging infrastructure. The objective was to achieve a significant reduction in operating costs and in the overall carbon footprint of the operation.
ENERGY YIELD
The solar plant produces clean energy for self-consumption, covering a substantial share of the distillery’s electricity needs and supplying power to the new electric vehicle charging points. This integrated project demonstrates how sustainability also delivers profitability. By combining solar generation with electric mobility, the solution achieves overall operational savings of 55%, making it a replicable success case for SMEs and large companies alike.
SUSTAINABILITY
The project avoids the emission of 105 tonnes of CO₂ per year (equivalent to 654 trees), while the installation of six EV chargers encourages sustainable mobility among employees and visitors, extending the project’s impact beyond the factory itself.
