This energy management solution enables Yazaki to benefit from green energy with no upfront investment, delivering cost savings and a significant reduction in its carbon footprint.

OBJECTIVE

To decarbonise industrial operations without initial capital expenditure through a PPA, achieving immediate economic savings, enhanced competitiveness, and a decisive step towards the Group’s climate neutrality goals.

Energy Production

The plant generates 3,518 MWh per year, covering a substantial portion of the factory’s energy consumption and ensuring immediate savings from day one.

Sustainability

The project avoids the emission of 1,653 tonnes of CO₂ per year, equivalent to the carbon absorption of 10,251 trees, positioning Yazaki at the forefront of sustainability.

Technical specifications

Prosolia Energy delivered a turnkey 2.29 MWp solar carport solution, optimising the use of parking areas. The installation includes comprehensive monitoring systems to ensure maximum performance and savings.

This PPA model with Prosolia Energy redefines energy management: it delivers immediate and predictable savings with zero risk for the client, freeing up capital for the core business while building a lasting legacy of sustainability and efficiency for the future.
