Prosolia Energy Achieves Triple ISO Certification, Reinforcing Its Commitment to Responsible Management

  • These certifications endorse the company’s role as a trusted partner for industrial businesses undergoing energy transition.
  • Achieving ISO aligns with ESG criteria and Prosolia Energy’s growth strategy across Europe.
  • “Quality, sustainability, and workplace safety are now firmly established as pillars of Prosolia Energy’s corporate culture,” says Eugenia Miralles, ESG Manager at Prosolia Energy.

In an increasingly demanding energy sector where quality, sustainability, and safety standards are critical, Prosolia Energy has taken a significant step to validate its responsible management model. The company has obtained triple ISO certification for its operations in Spain: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). This achievement strengthens its position as a trusted partner for industrial companies seeking to decarbonize their energy sources.

The certifications, granted by independent entity EQA España, come at a key moment for Prosolia Energy as it pursues an ambitious growth strategy—both organic and inorganic—while consolidating its position as a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Europe. The company continues to drive a business model focused on developing hybrid energy projects that combine renewable sources with storage solutions.

Commitment to Responsible Management

“The implementation of an integrated management system under ISO 14001, 9001, and 45001 reinforces our commitment to the highest standards and enables much more effective management. These certifications ensure that our processes are efficient, safe, and responsible, helping us build a strong organizational culture prepared for present and future challenges, with a positive long-term impact,” explains Eugenia Miralles, ESG Manager at Prosolia Energy.

For the company, this milestone in Spain is just the beginning, with plans to extend this model to its subsidiaries in other countries. “Integrating ISO standards allows us to generate a positive impact on the planet while ensuring employee well-being, so it’s likely we will replicate this model across other subsidiaries in the future,” adds Miralles.

EQA also expressed satisfaction in working with companies like Prosolia Energy, which operate in the renewable energy sector and strive to achieve these certifications because “they reflect the team’s ongoing efforts to improve processes,” says Fernando Trénor, Head of the Commercial Department for the Levante Region at EQA.

An Added Value for Clients

In a context where many international companies—both industrial and service-oriented—already include ESG criteria in their strategies, holding certifications like these can become a decisive factor, as clients increasingly seek energy providers that can demonstrate responsible management, especially large multinationals. These certifications therefore provide additional assurance of Prosolia Energy’s role as a trusted partner in decarbonization projects.
